The right hotel for your trip depends on why you’re travelling — not just where.
A solo woman traveller, a Nehru Place business visitor, and a family of four don’t want the same hotel — even at the same price. We’ve published a separate guide for each kind of guest who actually stays at Hotel Grand FFOUR. Pick yours below.
Why this page existsYou don’t book a hotel. You book a hotel for a specific trip.
Same city, same week, same budget — completely different decision.
A solo woman travelling for the first time has different priorities than a business traveller flying in for a Nehru Place meeting — and both have different priorities than a family of four trying to fit four people into one room without anyone sleeping on a folding cot. The hotel is the same. The questions are completely different.
So we built a guide for each segment. Same building, same family ownership, same fifteen-year track record — but the room, the amenities, the reviews, and the walking distances we surface change based on who you are and why you’re visiting. Pick the guide that matches your trip and you’ll see the version of Grand FFOUR that’s built for you.
Quick contextHotel Grand FFOUR — the short version.
We’re a boutique hotel at F-4, East of Kailash — in the heart of South Delhi, 50 metres from Kailash Colony Metro on the Violet Line. The same family has run the property since 2010. Fifteen years of one team, one set of standards, and one ritual that nobody else in South Delhi has bothered to copy: complimentary masala chai and warm snacks every evening at 4 PM, served in the lobby. Our regulars call it FFOUR O’Clock. It started as a small gesture for long-stay guests. It became the reason many of them book direct.
4.3-star rating on TripAdvisor.
The hotel was built around a single idea: get the basics right, every time, for every guest. Clean rooms. Consistent WiFi. Breakfast that doesn’t change recipe based on the day of the week. A front desk that picks up on the first ring at 3 AM.

Location matters differently for everyoneWhy East of Kailash works for almost any traveller.
South Delhi is an enormous market. The hotels in Saket are right for one kind of guest, the ones in Connaught Place for another, and the ones near the airport for a third. Hotel Grand FFOUR sits in East of Kailash — a residential-yet-connected neighbourhood that happens to be the single best base for several different traveller types at once. The reason is the metro.
Kailash Colony Metro Station is on the Violet Line, 50 metres from our front door. From that station, you’re 4 stops from Central Secretariat, 5 stops from Rajiv Chowk (Connaught Place), 8 stops from Kashmere Gate, and 7 stops from Botanical Garden in Noida. That makes us a viable base for tourists doing India Gate / Khan Market / Lodhi Garden, for medical visitors going to AIIMS or Safdarjung, for business travellers in Nehru Place / Bharat Mandapam / Pragati Maidan, and for transit guests catching late flights from IGI (45 min by cab).
The walking-distance picture is just as good. Nehru Place IT Hub starts where the metro exit ends — 5 minutes on foot. GK M-Block Market is the same distance in the other direction. Lotus Temple is an 8-minute walk; ISKCON Temple is 10 minutes. Shroff Eye Hospital is one minute. RG Stone Hospital is two. The hotel is on the main road, not a side lane — lit, busy, and with continuous foot traffic from the market and hospitals until late, which is why solo women travellers and late-arriving business guests both find it comfortable.
Every room, every guestWhat’s included with every booking.

Why pick us, in two minutesWhy guests choose Grand FFOUR over other South Delhi hotels.
Most hotels in South Delhi compete on the same three claims: location, price, and “luxury.” We compete on the things that don’t fit on a billboard.
Same Family, Same Team Since 2010
No corporate rebrand. No franchise change. The team running the front desk today is the team that was running it five years ago. Repeat guests notice — many book direct because the staff remembers their name and their usual room.
The Price You See Is the Price You Pay
Breakfast, WiFi, housekeeping, taxes, evening chai — all included. No resort fee, no service charge, no “extra child” surprise at checkout. The website price matches the invoice.
Pay at Hotel, Not at Booking
Direct bookings need no advance payment and offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before check-in. The lowest-risk reservation in our segment.
A 24/7 Front Desk That Actually Picks Up
Late check-in. Late dinner. Verified airport cab at 4 AM. Most hotels promise 24/7 service — we answer the call.

FFOUR O’Clock — A Daily Ritual Nobody Else Does
Every evening at 4 PM, complimentary masala chai and warm snacks in the lobby. Long-stay regulars built the tradition. Now it’s the reason many of them book direct.
We’re also listed on MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, Booking.com, Cleartrip, and Agoda — you can compare reviews across platforms before you book. The most consistent feedback across all sources: clean rooms, attentive staff, fair pricing, and the daily 4 PM chai. The most consistent reason guests cite for booking direct: it’s cheaper, the cancellation policy is more generous, and we throw in the chai.
